Welcome to the new Mildura RiverSport. The online water sport community, by the community.

This site aims to provide it’s members and visitors with the information to ensure that their time spent on the river is as pain free and fun as possible.
I plan on making this happen by providing you information ranging from boat ramp and sandbar locations to maintenance tips for your chosen watercraft.

On each of the pages to your left, you will find links like the ones below, they will take you to more information about the topic you are viewing.

The information that you will find within the pages of this site will be contributed by a wide range of people, professional people to the guy next door, but rest assured that the posts made to this site are monitored and anything that doesn’t sound quite right gets checked on and amended where possible but as much as we endevour to ensure that the information is correct, we don’t have people manning the site 24 hours a day 7 days a week and from time to time there may be a delay between information being submitted and things being checked out, so if you see something, let us know and we will get onto it as soon as possible.

As this is a community website we are always looking for new contributors so if you think you have the knowledge or experience to help out a fellow river user, signup as a user and then contact me to get your account upgraded so you can start making a difference.

About Us

If you have read the welcome page of this site you will already have a pretty good understanding as to how I plan this website to unfold and grow.
What you may not understand is exactly how I intend to provide you with the information mentioned.
That in itself is where the interesting part of the plan comes into action. I will be enlisting the help of some of the industries leading professionals and boating figureheads within the community, to join this website and contribute articles from the areas that they are most passionate about.
The type of people that I am aiming to attract as authors for this website are the kind of people that are working in and around boats and water sports every day. From the people selling and servicing the boats and equipment to the people using them for the sport they love.
Articles published should be between 500 and 1000 words, long enough to hold valuable information but short enough not to take up too much of your time.
For anyone in a business that might like to help me, I am more than happy to provide you with advertising space on this website and to make it as easy as possible to contribute. I understand that it’s hard to find the time to do everything you need to do running your business let alone having to write articles for a website. Thats why I plan to offer you a few options when it comes to contributing, these will include but are not limited to, visits to establish monthly articles or provisions for you to publish at a time and place that best suits you.
If you think you can help me with my endevour for the ultimate watersports website, please send me an email or check out the contact page for other ways to get in touch with me.
